Welcome to the new Highway Robbery website, formerly known as the Regina Committee For An Alternative Bypass: Why Tower Road.
What originally began as a group of concerned who proposed an alternative route to the Regina Bypass – one that made more sense and would be far more cost effective – has developed into an organization that stands to tell the stories of Highway Robbery along the route of the Regina Bypass – the biggest scandal in Saskatchewan history.

These are the stories of century old homesteads plowed through to make room for a poorly conceived, poorly designed highway bypass that bypasses nothing more than transparency and accountability. Many of us have been negatively impacted by the decision to locate the Regina Bypass along Tower Toad and the GTH, and we have come together to tell our stories.

Our newly developed name, Highway Robbery, is very appropriate on many levels especially given all the cuts by the Wall government that are impacting our great province.
If you thought the land transactions at the GTH stunk, just wait until you hear the stories that we have been digging up and compiling for the past two years!

Our upcoming book will be available soon on this very website, and this story has all the ‘Hollywood Action’ you could want! From land-flippers making a staggering 2000 percent return on investment overnight, to landowners being carelessly bulldozed through, this story reads like a crime novel thats destined for the Silver Screen!
